 Verified  At the hottest week of the summer our AC pipe was clogged and water was dripping from the ceiling and no AC. After 2 repairmen came out 2 times from a company we'd used before the repair wasn't finished. They said they'd be back between 1 & 4 the next day. At 4:40 they called and canceled saying it was too hot. My daughter had raved about Romero so I called him. He was professional and attentive from the first call to completion the next day. He spent 3 hours  in a hot crawl space attic on the 4th of July. He did a fantastic job, worked in the heat and was meticulous. His price was fair and he's really honest. He is also just a great guy. I highly recommend him and his company. I can't say enough about how positive this experience was.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  Read this: Ramiro and his crew at Flow-Rite Heating & Cooling were outstanding. They serviced our HVAC system, replaced the solenoid, and upgraded our filter setup. We live in a condo building where contractors are held to a high standard for cleanliness, noise, and professionalism. These guys exceeded all expectations.

Ramiro was accommodating and respectful throughout the entire process. He honored an old quote without hesitation and even charged me less than expected. That kind of integrity is pretty rare.

I think this is a family-run business, but the quality of service they provided is on par with any top-tier operation. I highly recommend them and will absolutely call again for my future HVAC needs!

The business owner Ramiro is easy to reach and patiently offers multiple creative solutions to every HVAC issue, with transparent pricing.  Ramiro, Darson and Nick just did a great job installing a new HVAC system at my house and due to the age of the house and prior unit, it was a complex job that required making adjustments on the fly, but the team was courteous and worked efficiently to get everything done promptly.  My husband and I look forward to enlisting the team for additional projects such as an attic fan and new stove hood vent.

 Verified  5 STARS FROM START TO FINISH !
Flow Rite replaced my 50 year old furnace with a new high efficiecy model. The owner Romiro inspected all duct work as part of the quoting process . He un covered the source of a cause for heat not getting to my upper bedrooms. He also uncovered a safety issue with my hot water heater exhaust pipe being corroded and split, allowing CO2 to enter the house, He gave me efficiency and cost options in his quote which was significanly lower than other HVAC companies. I accepted his proposal in the evening and he and his crew were here the next morning. They tarped the path from my door to the furnace room which is two levels down in my house and dismantled and replaced my
old unit as well as correcting the issues Ramiro uncovered, These guys are the BEST !

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  My A/C unit quit working overnight.  I live in a walk up building with the units on the roof. Another company told me that they would have to use a crane to put the new unit on the roof.  They also said that my street would have to be shut down to accommodate the crane,  and that a permit would have to be obtained from the city. Another neighbor recommended Flow Rite.  Ramiro was able to get my A/C replaced using a hoist crew to lift the unit onto the roof. He’s very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company.

We used them when a 30+ year old freon based spacepak system that we inherited was on the fritz and they were fantastic from beginning to end with replacing it with a new unit, despite significant number of issues outside Flow-Rite's control including supply chain issues, manufacturer quality issues, and previously botched installations from living in an old house. Whenever an issue would come up, they would be there immediately to fix things. Ramiro is absolutely someone that you want in your corner because he doesn't stop until the system is not only working but working at its full capacity. 10/10

 Verified  Recommended to me by a friend and I am very happy with my experience.

Romero and his team were very responsive, and professional. 
Romero presented and quoted several options; he answered my many questions in the time leading up to a final decision to ensure I was selecting a suitable solution for my home.

We had to schedule a second visit to complete the project due to the amount of work which included addressing suboptimal routing of ductwork attached to the old furnace. Thankfully, the second visit was only to install the outdoor AC condenser - something we don't need in these cold Chicago winters and I commend Romero and his team for braving the particularly cold day on which they installed it.

They'll have to return closer to Spring to make sure the AC is fully charged so will wait on that.

Also happy that Romero and his team used drop cloths and vacuumed the space once done for the day.

Overall I'm happy with my purchase, the experience, and the fair prices.

We needed to replace a 24 year old failed SpacePak A/C unit built into the eaves of our 125 year old home. It was an extremely difficult job (in very cramped quarters) to remove the old unit and replace it with a new one. Ramiro gave us an extensive explanation of our options, a fair bid for the work, and he and his crew worked tirelessly for more than 15 hours to make sure the new unit was installed when he promised. He promptly returned several times to 'tweak' the new system until it was running perfectly.
